Paper books are too heavy to send to space, and I'm not sure how would to print in zero gravity.
Besides who needs paper books when you can upload hundreds of then on ebook like Amazon's Kindle.
Food is the different matter, as long as you don't ask how they made that shitburgerm it's better then eating concentrated food from the tubes.
